The California Consumer Privacy Act requires that businesses obtain affirmative consent from those 13–15 before selling their private information. That is why we have the "I am over 16 years old" checkbox enabled by default on all Hearken embeds.

If your organization complies with the CCPA or is not covered by it, and you want the "I am over 16 years old" checkbox not to display on your embeds, contact your Hearken account manager and they can disable it for you.
